The Raging Rose (with Jularr of Gladden)

Remember what I said in the last Jularr post about controversial clothing? Yeah, this was one of the outfits I was referring to.

I mean, who would have thought to have rose and indigo be the main colour scheme of an outfit that included the shoulderpiece so reminiscent of Mordor? Definitely not me. But it works! Somehow... It's strange, and quaint for sure, and just simply brilliant!

I might be really biased, though, as pink is my favourite colour(?), but this outfit really has an outlandish feel to it, almost like it didn't belong in this world, which can be cool if you don't overdo it. It kind of reminds me of Eadyth's Flame of Fornost outfit, which was designed to be look similar to other MMORPG outfits with vivid, fantastical colours, etc.

Another amazing aspect of this outfit is the fine gold lining found on the head, chest and foot pieces. It's a subtle detail, and are all undyeable parts, which make the inclusion even more interesting as Jularr would have had to find pieces that had those ready, not being able to alter the colour to fit his design. Although the shoulderpiece stands out as it doesn't really match anything else on the outfit, I think it can be forgiven on the basis that this outfit really challenges the norm of outfits, and succeeds brilliantly. Well done, Jularr!

The Silverhead Scholar (with Wjiyeon of Gladden)

Welcoming a new toon to the family, an alt of Sintuilë, I proudly present to you Wjiyeon, the Silverhead Scholar! 

Now, that title could be referencing her headpiece, or simply her beautiful silver hair (and I am told that after sending me the screenshots, Wjiyeon's player decided not to keep the headpiece - I think I agree with them, but it's not a bad addition if you'd like to keep it). Also, I like keeping my rule about not having outfits consisting of two pieces from the same set (just cause that makes mixing too easy in my opinion), but that's just a rule for myself.

What I particularly like about this outfit is the use of the use of Wildermore crafted piece and barter reward, and weirdly enough in my few years of having Wildermore completed, I've had alts wear Wildermore armour pieces but never got around to finishing outfits with them to keep and record - I had a guardian sister of Eadyth wear the heavy wildermore cosmetic chestpiece as the centre of the outfit but it never kicked off.

Also, it's very subtle but the chestpiece is dyed navy and the cloak is dyed indigo. Now despite that, it still feels like the 'same' colour, and is strangely reminiscent of the idea of the Blue Wizards. I'm not sure if that's what Wjiyeon was going for, but it definitely fits the whole Lore-master look, and I've not seen many Blue Wizard-y outfits around - there have been some but not many, despite the amazing opportunity.

Chest: Supple Wildermore Robe of Tactics (navy);

Hands: Strong Sturdy Leather Gloves (sienna);

Haradrim Hunter

After I'd finished my Watcher West of the White City outfit and outgrew it, I felt Eadyth needed a new look as she progressed further into the Epic storyline. 

I really enjoyed putting this outfit together, as I was given the chance to combine colours I never would have originally: burgundy, indigo, and navy, + the gold-ish metal undyeable bits. It was really amazing how well it turned out (in my opinion, pat myself on the back) but I thought it captured the feel of some of those armoured Haradrim you see within Cair Andros and the likes. 

I hope you like the picture above because I spent 500-600 LOTRO Points JUST to buy that cosmetic pet that I don't see myself letting loose all that often. I think I saw an outfit post with a little mumak as well, but with a redder hue, but I couldn't find it in the store or online wiki pages, so I just went with this little guy. I would have used the one without the armour, but there's no way I'm gonna have the opportunity to do Throne of the Dread Terror T2Cs enough times for a random drop to come my way.

Savage Strikes

As his final battle, his last stand, Eadhan charges into the goblin-overrun desolation of Minas Eriol to serve his fellow free peoples one last time.

A sorry sight to see a once great land taken by vile creatures. Eadhan dresses in a savage's garb adorned by one sturdy and intimidating helm before charging against the White Hand's pawns.

Without mercy, he cuts them down one by one with the blades of the east, pinning evil against evil in a sadistic irony. After each kill he taunts the rest of the horde by shaking his fist at them, growling for a challenge to feed his bloodlust.

"Come at me!" he beckons at the White Hand Lobbers as they sneer and hiss at him, lighting their flames to consume him with. But Eadhan knows no fear in the eyes of fire, as goblin fire is nothing compared to the dragon breath he has faced in yesteryears.

After finally defeating much of the horde, they call for reinforcements from Weathertop. Eadhan knows he cannot alone defy them, and he lays down his swords, knowing he has done much to hinder them and thin their numbers - he has served Middle-earth well, and it is now time for him to take his final breaths and meet his fallen brothers in the afterlife. He takes one more look to the sky, then...

Back: Supple Eastement Cloak of Will (turquoise);

Chest: Langhár’s Tunic and Waistcoat (turqoise);

Feet: (indigo).

P.s. I deleted this toon before I rememebr I needed to get the components listed down, so I'll update it whenever I find out what the pieces are, but if you have any idea do feel free to comment them down. Also, I am quite (80%) certain that either the cloak or the chestpiece is of dark green dye instead of turquoise, so feel free to try that out.
