Worm Wrangler (with Kyix of Gladden)

Wearing the hide and scale of her foes, this fearless captain charges into the lairs of drakes on her trusty dragon-clad steed. Together, their might keeps the worms at bay and keeps Middle-earth safe.

I have to say I am loving the new cosmetic armour rewards for this Anniversary Festival; they just look amazing. Well done to the new design team who brought such freshness to the table - it's paid off, as I've already received an outfit submission based around the new helm. Granted it's not the most versatile piece, but it does look amazing.

It definitely looks great in combat stance too, as the points on the helm and the shoulders create this intimidatingly beautiful outline. I use the same shoulders on my Rune Keeper and I can testify to the silhouette of her riding down the dark forests of Mirkwood looking absolutely stunning.

Head: Helm of the Unflagging Dragon (red);
Shoulders: Shoulders of the Deathstorm (ranger green);
Back: Cloak of the Boar Warrior (ranger green);
Chest: Scaled Hauberk (red);
Hands: Ceremonial Dragon-scale Gloves (gold);
Feet: Boots of the Unflagging Dragon (crimson).

In My Absence...

Hey guys,

Sorry for not posting the past few months. There is just so many ideas that you can get with the existing armour pieces in LOTRO at the moment, but I still have hope for the future with new expansions etc. Right now, we're blessed to have the Anniversary Festival giving an amazing new cosmetic armour set to barter as well as a different version of that as a deed or quest reward, so do look forward to fashion blogs coming back to take advantage of that!

Also, I'll be beginning my education at the Berklee College of Music toward the end of May, and I will be officially taking a break from LOTRO to focus on my studies. I will come on every now and then to check up and see what's been going on, maybe look at new outfits and hopefully make some new ones. But as far as I'm concerned, I won't be playing proper for 3-4 years, not counting holidays (which, if I'm being honest, will be spent with friends and working most of the time, so no promises!)

But I hope this doesn't leave any outfit lovers empty as I see Nathrien of Material Middle-earth is coming back for her monthly posts, so do check her out! She's the reason I'm doing all this, if I'm being honest haha!

With that, I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to check my outfits out whenever you have, and I'd like to leave you with a very fond see-you-again-soon, no farewell. Happy outfitting!
